EIP concluded with success the” Rehabilitation Works of the Spillway Double Fixed Wheel Gate nº 7 of Belver Dam”, during last January. This was this Spillway fifth gate to be consecutively rehabilitated by EIP.
E.I.P. has been contracted by REN for the remodeling of the 400/150/60 kV Riba d’Ave Substation. It is one of the largest equipment of this type in Portugal. The works consist in remodeling the entire Substation in what concerns VHV/HV equipment, auxiliary service systems and control and protection services. The contract has a duration of 27 months.
Red Eléctrica de España awarded to Tensa, S.A., a company of Group EIP, with head office in Spain, the Contract “Entrance/Exit in the Buniel Substation of the 400 kV Barcina-Grijota Overhead Line”.
Starting during the present month of December and expected to last four months, the works will cover the construction of a double power overhead line, with a length of around 3,543 km, from the existing 400 kV Barcina-Grijota overhead line to the new Buniel Substation. The main purpose will be to feed up the new Traction Substation for the high-speed AV train in the North Corridor I, in the line section Baños-Burgos.
The works and installation subject of this contract will take place in Burgos province, affecting the Municipal Terminals of Rabé de las Calzadas, Frandovinez and Buniel.
Gas Natural Fenosa awarded to Asturwatt, SL, company of EIP Group, with head office in Spain, a Contract to “Reform the 45/15 kV El Vandel Substations”.
The works started during the present month of December and have an expected duration of one month. They will consist in reforming and adapting works in the 45/15 kV El Vandel Substation, in Madrid.
Iberdrola Ingenieria y Construcción (Iberinco) has awarded to Tensa, S.A., a company of Group EIP, with head office in Spain, a contract for the “Adaptation of the 45 kV Power Line between Peñaflor Substation and La Mudarra Substation”.
The works are foreseen to start in January 2017 with an expected duration of two month.
The power line section to be modified, subject of this contract, has a length of 556m, double circuit fully underground. It originates in tower 37 of the existing Power Line, between Peñaflor Substation and the Mid Voltage La Mudarra Substation, from where starts the 556m underground extension till Mudarra IBD Substation.
This Power Line is situated in Valladolid province, Comunidad Autónoma de Castilla-León.
Iberdrola Ingenieria y Construcción (Iberinco) has awarded to Tensa, S.A., a company of Group EIP, with head office in Spain, a contract for the “Interconnexion of the new La Mudarra Substation to the Mid Voltage La Mudarra Substation”.
The works started last November and have an expected duration of two months.
The main purpose of this contract is to interconnect the new La Mudarra IBD Substation to the existing Mid-Voltage La Mudarra Substation. The power line will have a length of 552m single circuit, fully underground, originated in La Mudarra Mid-Voltage Substation, from where it is extended for 552m till the La Mudarra IBD Substation. This Power Line is situated in Valladolid province, Comunidad Autónoma de Castilla León.
REN awarded to E.I.P., last November, two new lots of Substations/Switching Stations. Two of them in the central area of the country: the 400 kV Ribatejo Switching Station and the 220/60 kV Trajouce Substation and five in the South area: the 150 kV Ermidas-Sado and Monte da Pedra Switching Stations, the 400/150/60 kV Sines Substation, the 400/60 kV Alqueva Substation and the 400/150/60 kV Portimão Substation.
Red Eléctrica de España, S.A. awarded to Tensa a Contract for “OPGW cable unwinding in the 220 kV ELS Overhead Line Aubals – Escatrón”.
Starting in October 2016 and with an expected duration of two weeks, the works will consist in the replacement of the existing steel cable by an OPGW, out of voltage, in the branch between towers 63 and 127, of Zona Norte. It comprises also the installation of insulators chains, OPGW unwinding, installation of power cables and respective accessories, from tower 63 to tower 127.
The works will take place in the limits of Caspe municipality, of the Zaragoza province, in the Comunidad Autonoma de Aragón.
TENSA, S.A., Company of Group EIP, based in Spain, started during last August, the contract for the Dismantling of the 132 kV St. Valladolid – St. Soto de Cerrato Overhead Line, expected to be concluded during next November, for Iberdrola Distribución Eléctrica, S.A..
This Overhead Line extends between St. Valladolid and Soto de Cerrato, in a length of 43.678m.
The section to be dismantled lies between St. Valladolid and tower 112, with a length of 28.155m fully overhead line.
TENSA, S.A., company of Group EIP, based in Spain, started during last August the works for the OPGW Unwinding in the 400 kV Pinilla – Peñarubia Overhead Line, expected to end during next November.
In general, the works consist in the substitution of the existing OPGW (12 FGO) by another one between towers 310 and 331B.
The works are for Maintenance Department of Red Eléctrica de España, S.A. and will take place near Jumilla, of the Comunidad Autónoma de Murça.
