E.I.P. is a mass producer of hot deep galvanized steel structures.

We are the oldest manufacturer in Portugal qualified and equipped for the manufacturing of:
• Towers, prismatic modules, adaptations and metal frames for MV/HV/VHV Overhead Lines;
• Structures for Substations and Catenary;
• Lattice Towers for Telecommunications.

Our Factory Production Control is certified in accordance with the EN 1090-1:2009 + A1:2011, system 2+, class of execution II. The respective statement of conformity is made available here.

Our steel structures mass production Plant is located at Montemor-o-Novo and is equipped with numerically controlled manufacturing lines (plates, angles and structural shapes), in a covered area of 12 000 m2 and a total surface of 100 000 m².

It has a manufacturing capacity of 12 000 t/year (per shift), and a raw-material storage capacity of about 7 000 t of plates and various steel shapes, received in accordance with the most strict quality criteria allowing for prompt responses to the various Client requests.

We produce large tonnages of steel structures for the VHV/HV Overhead Lines Iberian Market and for private wind farms promoters (REN, EDP, EEM, EDA, SIEMENS, EFACEC, GAMESA, ENERSIS, HIDROCANTÁBRICO, RES, etc.), as well as for the international market (ENE and MITRELLI in Angola, CORPOELEC and PDVSA in Venezuela, ACCIONA ENERGÍA in Costa Rica, ISOTRON/SUN EDISON and CRJ WIND/ENEL GREEN POWER in Chile, among others).

Our capacity enables us to keep on ensuring the supply of 50% of Steel Towers for VAV Overhead Lines in Portugal and to Support consistently our internationalization activity (turn-key projects).

We are one of the greatest manufacturers of Lattice Towers for telecommunications in Portugal (for RTP, RDP, MARCONI, EASTÉCNICA, etc.), having also made important export supplies.

We have a production integrated management by ERP and the raw material Quality Control is made in our own lab or through protocols with accredited labs.
