OPGW unwinding in the 220 kV ELS Overhead Line Aubals – Escatrón
Red Eléctrica de España, S.A. awarded to Tensa a Contract for “OPGW cable unwinding in the 220 kV ELS Overhead Line Aubals – Escatrón”.
Starting in October 2016 and with an expected duration of two weeks, the works will consist in the replacement of the existing steel cable by an OPGW, out of voltage, in the branch between towers 63 and 127, of Zona Norte. It comprises also the installation of insulators chains, OPGW unwinding, installation of power cables and respective accessories, from tower 63 to tower 127.
The works will take place in the limits of Caspe municipality, of the Zaragoza province, in the Comunidad Autonoma de Aragón.
